Through the mitochondria that are only inherited from mothers, genetic alteration is manifested. But it does not mean that mothers pass a disease to their children but rather give the solution for the disease. We too can find the solution about eternal life through Mother who gives life.
I’m very grateful to God Elohim for allowing me to explain about Mitochondrial Inheritance.
Through this topic, I will explain that by genetic alteration we can know not only of a disease but an important role that a mother has in life.
Mitochondria
First, let’s get familiar with some terms:
Genes
A gene is a unit that stores genetic information, and is a segment of DNA containing information about how the body cells run. It has elements that indicate from where to where it has to be read, and its contents determine the composition of proteins.
Chromosomes
A chromosome is s small, rod-shaped structure where chromatin is organized through mitotic and meiosis cell division.
Mitochondria
Mitochondria are cellular bodies in charge of providing most energy required for cellular activity, that is, cellular respiration.
Mitochondrial genome
Mitochondrial genome is also called mitochondrial DNA, and its acronym is mtDNA or mDNA. What is mitochondrial genome? The mitochondrial genome is the genetic material of the mitochondria, the organs that generate energy for the cell. Moreover, the mitochondrial DNA reproduces itself automatically when the same eukaryotic cell divides.
Secret of mitochondrial inheritance
Most of the genetic material is found in the chromosomes in the nucleus of the cell, and mitochondria contain a small amount of DNA called mitochondrial DNA, as well. The alterations of the genetic material of the mitochondria are the cause of some diseases that are transmitted with a characteristic pattern. However, the alteration is a solution to diseases rather than the cause.
When a sperm fertilizes an egg, only its nucleus enters, and its tail and mitochondria are destroyed, which determines that only the mother can pass mitochondria. This way, mitochondria are transmitted with a characteristic pattern.
Mitochondrial inheritance has allowed scientists to find ‘326 syndromes and disorders,’ and ‘peculiar phenotypes associated with mutations in the mitochondrial genome.’
Human mitochondrial DNA has unique features that suits well for micro evolutionary studies. To determine the relationship of kin, thanks to its presence in the bone, we can obtain the genome of individuals already dead many years ago. There has been excavation in northern Chile. Archeology and anthropology has studied mummies. Through the studies, they have determined from where these ancient populations in northern Chile originate. Studies have also been made in present populations in Chilean and Puerto Rican ethnicity.
I’m not trying to teach about genetics, so I’ve made a brief explanation.
God’s promise, eternal life
The Bible teaches us something very important, the promise of eternal life.
And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.
1 John 2:25
We’ve received the promise of eternal life.
Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
Galatians 4:28
Science seeks life, but actually God gives us eternal life. In 1 John 2:25, it is written, “And this is what he promised us—eternal life.” Then who will give us eternal life in the last days?
It is the Spirit and the Bride.
The Spirit and the Bride give the water of life
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” … and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Revelation 22:17
In Revelation 22:17, it is written, “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ … and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” The Spirit and the Bride are calling mankind to receive eternal life. If we want to receive eternal life, we must go to the Spirit and the Bride. Most Christians know that the Holy Spirit is God the Father. Then, to whom do the Spirit and the Bride give the water of life? To the children of the promise!
Bride, heavenly Jerusalem our Mother
Who is the Bride that gives us the water of life in the last days? In Revelation 21:9, an angel said that he would show the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
“Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” … and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Who was shown to him as the wife? He showed the heavenly Jerusalem. But the heavenly Jerusalem is not physical Jerusalem in the Middle East. This is the spiritual Jerusalem just as Apostle Paul said, “… expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.” Who is the Bride, then? Galatians 4:26 states, “But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.”

Bride = Mother who gives us the water of life
So the heavenly Jerusalem is our Mother as the Bride of the Spirit. We must go to the Bride who is calling to give us the water of life freely.
God the Mother, the source of life
The book of Romans says that Adam is the pattern of the one to come.
… Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.
Romans 5:14
Adam = Christ
Adam is the pattern of the one to come. Who is the one to come? The Bible points out that he is Christ. Adam represents Christ. Then who does his wife Eve represent?
Adam named his wife Eve [life], because she would become the mother of all the living.
Genesis 3:20
At the footnote of this verse, most versions of the Bible say that Eve is a Hebrew word meaning life. That’s why it is written in Genesis 3:20 that Eve is the “mother of all living.” In conclusion, Adam represents God the Father, and Eve represents God the Mother.

Heavenly Mother, the reality of mitochondrial Eve
Many scientists of today call the gene given by the mother Eve’s mitochondria or mitochondrial Eve. Apostle Paul taught us through the Bible that the earthly system is a copy and a shadow of the heavenly system. So, the spiritual reality of mitochondrial Eve who gives us life is God the Mother from whom life originates and where we can receive eternal life.
Even up until today, many scientists continue to study to find the secret of life, tracking the ancestry of the lineages back to mitochondrial Eve to presume characteristics of mankind in early stages. They are still searching for the country where mitochondrial Eve really existed.
However, we no longer need to cling to mitochondria in cells, which are only a shadow. It’s because we’ve already met Heavenly Mother who is the reality of spiritual life. I would call Her (spiritual Eve) life. Thank you.
